The purpose of this group is to make new friends, hang out with people you already know, have fun and learn from each other...as well as creating art! We will have organized photo walks, informal get-togethers, and when I can get them in place, specialized workshops.
This will be a real, live group - so we will collect dues from each member of $10 per year for 2010 (pretty affordable) to pay for the meet-up service website fee, with excess going towards a Christmas get-together at the end of the year or something similar.

NetSquared Gulf Coast is seeking people that are passionate about technology, social media, or networking and would like to invite you to join our group.
Welcome! I am starting this group in hopes of meeting some new girlfriends in the area. This is a women-only group for ages 20-50 (but I won't be strict, no ID checking here).
The focus of the books we read will not be on literary works of art. We will look for fun and entertaining easy reads. The kind that even the busiest lady will be able to to find time to get through.
I plan to have meetups once a month at a local restaurant. Since I am new to the area, I am open to suggestions, willing to meet anywhere from Bay St. Louis to Ocean Springs. I also plan to have some other meetups that are not book related for anyone who is interested.
There is an annual fee of $5.00 since my experience with meetups has shown this will help ensure we get active members. I ask that people pay the annual fee within the first two months of membership.
So if you are ready to meet some new friends, share a glass of wine or two, and read some fun books this is the meetup for you.

We gather to study Nichiren Buddhism on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Anyone on the Gulf Coast interested in Buddhism is invited to gather for discussion meetings. Primarily we will meet in Long Beach. But we also have meetings in Gulfport, Biloxi and Ocean Springs.
